I had a great weekend at VidCon a few weeks ago, but learned a valuable lesson: don’t over-plan your weekend! I only got to one panel discussion, no main stage events, and didn’t get to hang out with friends nor new friends because I packed my schedule too full with interviews and meetings. While that might be good for business, it’s not good for me personally. At future YouTube events like VidCon and Playlist Live I need to chill out a bit and schedule room to relax and just be present with people.
