Optimizing videos for YouTube doesn’t only mean optimizing the metadata, but it also means optimizing the actual content itself. Titles, tags, descriptions, and thumbnails are all very important, but that info is what gets someone to click. The video itself is what holds a viewer’s attention, earns watch time, and grows the YouTube channel overall.
I recently attended a storytelling workshop by Rebel Pilgrim here in Cincinnati and learned a lot about storytelling and how to tell stories in a way that engage people. That’s obviously a very important part of any YouTube channel, so here’s a bit of what I learned there. I recommend you check out their storytelling workshop yourself sometime and learn more.
