Today YouTube announced a new resource they’ve put together that compiles a lot of the best video training tutorials and puts them all together in one place. The resource is a step in the right direction for people who want to learn more about basic photography and cinematography like camera gear, lighting, microphones, video cameras, DSLRs, audio, ISO, shutter speeds, apertures, and more, but it doesn’t really cover any one subject in detail. You’d still probably be better with Vimeo’s Video School, Lynda.com, or something like that. Still, it’s free and easily accessible for anyone who just wants to get started.
