YouTube Says Channels are now basically Podcasts

Last week YouTube made a controversial announcement about an update coming to the mobile app in November. Users will have the option to download your videos for offline viewing. The videos will play for 48 hours, at which time they will expire and the device will need to reconnect to the Internet to sync views, ad revnue, and such.

Before the update launches, creators have the ability to disable downloads of their videos under their advanced channel settings, found here.

Will you leave video downloads enabled for your channel or will you disable them, and why?
