For this very first podcast, let’s talk about the foundations of earning a full-time income from your YouTube audience, even if you’re a small YouTuber.
I start by telling my story about how I earned $10,000/month from my channel after only 6 months with around 3,000 subscribers. Then I share the principles of how to think about a channel that makes that kind of money possible with a relatively small audience.
While I’m talking to a group of vloggers in this presentation and tailor it accordingly, these principles apply to almost any channel. Not to every channel, but to most channels.
Please forgive the poor audio quality. I recorded the audio on my phone while doing this presentation at Vloggerfair, which also happened to be where my notes were for my talk, so you’ll hear some rubbing and tapping in this audio recording. Sorry! Hopefully the value of the content overrides that!
