Many YouTube creators are trying to reproduce the success they’ve seen other creators have by imitating what worked for that other creator, whether it be a show format, editing style, personality, or something else. Even when replicated, it doesn’t often lead to growth because that “thing” may not be another creator’s strength. A great artist may start by imitating someone else, but should never stop there. You have to make it work for your own strengths and skills that no one else can quite reproduce. In this episode, Tim and Derrick talk about ways you can find your strengths in growing a YouTube channel and capitalize on them.
