Some older videos on a different channel were getting very few views, so almost a year ago I went back and updated the metadata surrounding that video. I wrote new titles, new description text, new tags, and even made new thumbnails. Some of them didn’t have caption files either, so I added those and now today you can see that these videos have two or three times the number of views they would’ve had if I hadn’t changed the video’s metadata.

If you have older videos that are no longer performing, consider updating the title, description, tags, and thumbnail to see if you can give it a little boost and make it more discoverable.
