How To Make Money on YouTube as a Small Creator [Ep. #1]

For this very first podcast, let’s talk about the foundations of earning a full-time income from your YouTube audience, even if you’re a small YouTuber.

I start by telling my story about how I earned $10,000/month from my channel after only 6 months with around 3,000 subscribers. Then I share the principles of how to think about a channel that makes that kind of money possible with a relatively small audience.

While I’m talking to a group of vloggers in this presentation and tailor it accordingly, these principles apply to almost any channel. Not to every channel, but to most channels.

Please forgive the poor audio quality. I recorded the audio on my phone while doing this presentation at Vloggerfair, which also happened to be where my notes were for my talk, so you’ll hear some rubbing and tapping in this audio recording. Sorry! Hopefully the value of the content overrides that!

How to take this training to the next level

Now that you understand the mentality you need to have to really make money on YouTube, even as a small creator, I want to teach you very practically, step-by-step how to develop a business model around your channel and start making even more money than I did. Hundreds of creators have used this training to quickly earn a full-time income on YouTube even with small channels. You can do it, too!

Thanks Tim! Sounds like I just need to find my hook and get used to saying I have art available. Unfortunately I chose a passion and career style that isn’t in mainstream media. But I get to watch Marine Life and travel so that is fun. Would you suggest making a small product that is inexpensive to help when I am not selling fine art?

I like the idea of working like mad for a set amount of time and then backing away if it doesn’t work out.
