Let’s face it: YouTube hasn’t been every creator’s favorite place to develop an audience of subscribers and make money. There’s issues with advertising, aka “adpocalypse,” monetization, Google Adsense, discoverability, and just a lot of competition overall. How do you know when it’s time to exit YouTube, leave the platform, and go elsewhere with your video content? It could be alotAA easier to get discovered, grow an audience, and make money on some other video sharing platform, right? Here’s my take on if that’s true or not and when you know it’s time to abandon YouTube and invest into a different platform instead.
