Last week YouTube announced YouTube TV! Major TV networks will soon be live streaming on YouTube. You’ll get access to all your favorite TV programming with built-in DVR recording and more. But will this help or hurt creators? Is this the beginning of the end for home grown creators on the platform? Will creators need better and better production skills and budgets to compete? Will YouTube turn into Netflix? Will YouTube TV just create more competition for creators or will it help us grow? We have so many questions!
I brought on a guest, Roberto Blake, to discuss the topic with me in a live stream that you can find here.

This was a fun podcast to listen to and way to go w/ the super chats! My husband and I have been thinking of cutting the cord for a while but college sports and local weather during tornado season have been the two things that have kept us tied down. YouTube TV may be the thing that finally sets us free.
I honestly don’t know what this will mean for me as a small creator. I guess I’ll just keep doing my thing and see what the future holds.
