Nintendo is at it again: finding ways to tick off their fan base of creators on YouTube. This time they tried to make a move that would serve them, but really just proved to creators that they care more about themselves than anything else. While they’re not technically doing anything wrong, their move to help creators monetize Nintendo content does go against the culture of gaming on YouTube.
