YouTube has a new player that’s available for us to test! It includes new features like watching videos in double speed or even slowing down the playback so we can watch them slower. Plus, a translucent player disappears until you point your mouse to the video, and the video dynamically resizes with your browser window.
YouTube also has a new tool for music channels that lets them see where their fans are located so they can plan tours accordingly. However, I think other YouTube creators could use this tool, too, to plan meetups and such.
