YouTube quietly released an update that auto-completes tags as you write them in the metadata field. As you type your tags, it now shows some results based on common tags and search queries. What the tag suggestions are based on, I’m not sure yet, but there’s potential that this will let you tag your videos more accurately and find tags that you otherwise wouldn’t have thought of that will help your videos’ SEO value.
YouTube also updated their analytics to let you see traffic sources data from only your YouTube subscribers. It reveals that subscribers are clearly more engaged with your videos than the average viewer, thus reinforcing the necessity to build a subscriber base and give YouTube solid data about your videos.
